The Top of Top Shot This

The Top Shot This series on NBA Top Shot in its first season has created a unique opportunity for moment collectors by turning some of the league’s most creative, unexpected, and groundbreaking moments into digital collectibles accessible in just a few hours after each event. This ‘minted to demand’ concept was a first for top shot this year, and provided a very unique opportunity for collectors to interact with moments in real time. In the sets inaugural year, there were 20 unique moments, all highlighting exceptional plays, memories, and records from the 2025-26 season. There are however a few top moments that will stand the test of time as some of the most unique digital collectibles from this new set. Here are the top 3 as seen from this collectors perspective:

#3 - Bam Adebayo Drops 83 in Second-Highest (Minted /2581)

In a performance that stunned the basketball world, Bam Adebayo erupted for 83 points, recording the second-highest scoring game in NBA history. Known primarily for his defense and versatility, Adebayo flipped the script with an offensive explosion for the ages, scoring from everywhere on the floor and dominating possession after possession. The sheer unpredictability of the performance is what made it so captivating—on a night where everything clicked, Bam delivered a masterpiece that will be remembered alongside the greatest individual scoring efforts the game has ever seen.

#2 - SGA's Record-Breaking Jumper Passes Wilt After 63 Years (Minted /1744)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered one of the most impressive displays of consistency the league has ever seen, breaking Wilt Chamberlain’s record for consecutive 20-point games. Night after night, SGA controlled the pace, got to his spots, and scored with effortless precision, proving that dominance in today’s NBA isn’t just about explosive scoring nights—it’s about reliability. In surpassing a record held by one of basketball’s most untouchable figures, Gilgeous-Alexander firmly established himself as not just a star, but a historically elite offensive force.

#1 - LeBron James Sets All-Time Record With 1,612th Game (Minted /5373

At age 40, LeBron James continued to rewrite what longevity looks like in professional sports by appearing in his 1,612th career game, the most in NBA history. What makes the milestone even more remarkable is that LeBron isn’t just hanging on—he’s still producing at an elite level, contributing across the board and leading his team deep into meaningful games (and currently in a meaningful run in this years playoffs). This record is a testament not only to his durability, but to his discipline, basketball IQ, and unmatched ability to evolve his game over two decades. Will we ever see this type of performance again from an NBA athlete in their 40’s? Will this game record be broken before the turn of the next century? The fact that we are asking those questions of the same athlete makes this moment the #1 on this list
