Something About A Rookie 1/1

I didn't plan on ripping any Rookie Revelation packs, but shortly after the case preorders were filled I thought the first case toppers listed were too cheap so I grabbed one.

I debated about reselling the topper, but that's not who I am. I ripped it and it was about as good of an outcome as I could have hoped for.

Top rookie. Auto. 1 of 1, Omega. VJ Edgecombe game-winning 3.

The sales for the RR Omegas have been interesting to watch--they seem to be going much lower than I would have expected, but this one is locked up and I look forward to holding for a while as Edgecombe grows as a pro.

While I had to pick a small group of rookies to focus on stacking and Edgecombe wasn't in that group (although I had a smaller collection of him), that was largely because I felt he started out a bit expensive but I've been a fan of his game since the season started. I enjoy guys that play with some swagger and VJ definitely has that aspect to his presence on the court.

The Rookie Revs look fantastic and the Omegas in particular are some of the best designed collectibles I've seen on the platform. We'll have to see which rookie 1/1s matter the most to collectors, but this one will matter the most to me. It just has a little more shine when it's one you pull.
