Let me start with a screenshot from the video. You'll know exactly what moment this is. The Lister Blister.

One of the things that I find appealing about Top Shot is getting to own a collectible that captures an iconic NBA moment. This dunk is part of every NBA "Best Dunk" collection and captures a moment when the NBA was beginning to play in a different way. More explosive and bringing some elements of the street/playground game onto the court.
Kemp certainly didn't quite have the career that it looked like he might when he set the sports world on fire with this dunk in the 1992 Playoffs, but in terms of iconic 90s NBA moments this has to be up there.
When I talk about focusing on digital collectibles that do things that physical can't, this is a great example. Sometimes photos can capture a moment and a snap of the pointing certainly has some of what happened, but it cannot capture the explosiveness of the dunk or the reactions of the players around him. Imagine doing something so unexpected that the dude who ends up on the floor and disrespected didn't even go after him. With a card, you're going to miss all of that.
This was one of the early non-rookie pickups for me when I got back into Top Shot last October. I decided to make it a little extra special by getting the perfect serial.
