Cooper’s… Artwork?

My favorite part of this moment for the first time ever is the artwork, but that may not lead you to an accurate depiction of why I desired this moment so very much in the first place.

I had designs on this moment for quite a while, and my full story about it can be viewed on Collectin & Connectin podcast episode: https://x.com/collctn_connctn/status/2051664389309096028/video/1

Make sure to check it out for some fun in depth chat about my Cooper collection, the NBA, the year in TS… and one take about the 76ers that I really do not want to come back and haunt me now :)

Back to this Cooper moment itself; a moment this epic, large, storied etc; and JJL is now writing about artwork for the first time ever over the video clip itself? Believe you me, I love the moment video and a perfect selection for such an epic game…

However, long after Cooper was coming out of HS, long after his Summer League debut that I watched 1st hand with a bunch of TS collecting mates, long after that… I noticed the front panel artwork on the Cooper Flagg Rookie Revelation for the first time. It almost made me emotional. My Maine mountains & woods, and our North Star, a star I don’t get to see every night anymore, because I moved to the southern hemisphere long ago.

A perfect highlight, spotlight, Maine-light. The Headlight that leads a nation early every morning.

What an awesome, amazing, beautiful surprise to see in my most desired moment ever. To the Top Shot artists & curators, I salute you. Absolutely outstanding.

We can find a lot of fun things to collect and fun things about our collections; and every now & then, we’re properly taken aback when all those things collide together in glory.

See you in July Maine. After a short Summer League stopover of course.
